Terms & Conditions of Service

Welcome to Lowe’s Dry Cleaners & Alterations. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our services, including dry cleaning, laundry, alterations, and any services offered through our website (lowedollarcleaners.com). By submitting items to us for service, you agree to be bound by these terms.
1. Service Agreement and Limitations
When you drop off items, we agree to exercise utmost care in processing items entrusted to us. However, we cannot guarantee against color loss, color bleeding, shrinkage, damage to weak or improperly manufactured fabrics, or damage to buttons, buckles, and trimmings.
- Pre-existing Conditions: We are not responsible for damage due to defects or weaknesses in the article that were not apparent prior to cleaning (e.g., sun exposure, deterioration due to age).
- Loss of Items: We exercise care in tracking items, but shall not be responsible for any item once it has been picked up or delivered to the customer. Any claims for lost items must be reported within forty-eight (48) hours of pickup.
2. Payments and Pricing
Pricing for dry cleaning, laundry, and alteration services is determined by the complexity of the item, fabric type, and the requested service. All prices are subject to change without prior notice.
- Payment: Payment is due in full upon pickup of the finished item. We accept cash and major credit cards via our payment processor, **Square**.
- Unclaimed Items: Items left in our shop for **more than ninety (90) days** from the ready-date may be disposed of or donated without liability to us.
3. Alteration Services
All alteration work is custom and requires client approval and fitting prior to commencement. The following conditions apply to alteration services:
- Accuracy: The client is responsible for confirming the fit and measurements taken during the consultation. Once the garment has been cut, changes may incur additional fees.
- Final Sale: Due to the custom nature of alterations, all payments for completed alteration work are **final and non-refundable.**
4. Handling of Personal Property
We are not responsible for any personal items, cash, or valuables left in garments. It is the customer’s sole responsibility to check all pockets and remove all property before dropping off items for service.
- We will attempt to return any items found but are not liable for their loss or damage.
5. Claims and Liability Limit
In the event of damage or loss that is determined to be our fault, our liability for any single item shall not exceed **ten (10) times the charge for cleaning that item**, regardless of brand or condition. This limitation is placed on all items, including but not limited to formal wear, designer goods, and luxury items.
- Any claims for damaged items must be submitted to us within **seven (7) days** of item pickup, accompanied by the original cleaning receipt.
- We must be allowed to re-examine the garment before a claim is processed.
6. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the **State of California**, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
